Waterways provide an economical and ecological mode of transport for your goods. With Saimaa Terminals, you have access to inland waterways in Europe from the river ports on the Rhine all the way to the Ruhr area, the canal network in Holland, the River Seine all the way to Paris, the Götä Canal in Sweden to Lake Vänern, and the massive Volgo-Balt river network in Western Russia, extending as far as the Caspian Sea and Black Sea.

The coastal ports on the Baltic Sea and North Sea are also within our reach. The sizes of the vessels used by Saimaa Terminals allow access to as far as the Bay of Biscay, but in project carriage, direct shipments have also been carried all the way to the great lakes in Canada.
